Bearing ring material and cage — what our table lists
2026-10-12
The ring material and cage type recorded for all 700 published deep groove ball bearing specifications, and how to confirm options the table does not cover.
Ring material and cage type decide how a bearing behaves under load and speed, so this page states exactly what our factory specification table records — no more and no less.
What the table records
What steel are the rings made of?
GCr15, on every row. All 700 published specifications — 100 base models times 7 seal variants — carry `GCr15` in the material column. The table records the designation only; it does not carry a cross-reference to other national grade systems, so we do not publish one.
What cage is used?
A pressed steel cage, recorded as 冲压钢板(SPCC), again on every one of the 700 rows. There is no second cage value anywhere in the table.
Does material or cage change by series?
No. All six series we list — 6000, 6200, 6300, 6800, 6900 and 16000 — carry the same two values on every row. The cage does not change with seal suffix either, so a 6205 open and a 6205 2RS are recorded with identical material and cage.
If you need something else
Can I get stainless steel or a different cage?
The published table does not cover it, so we will not quote a specification here. Send us the requirement with the model, the duty cycle and the quantity and we will confirm what the production route can actually supply. Minimum order quantity is 500 pcs and standard lead time is 2 days, shipped worldwide.
What the table does not record
Which related fields are missing?
The table does not record heat treatment condition, hardness, cage guidance method, or grease type and fill. We do not publish figures for those, so please send the application instead of reading a number off this page.
