Seal Design Notes
- Seal construction
- An RZ sealing ring made of nitrile rubber (NBR) on one side; the opposite side is open.
- What it shields
- The ring helps limit contaminant entry and grease escape on the sealed side. The factory table does not specify contact geometry or a water-resistance rating.
- Effect on speed
- The listed grease-lubricated limiting speed is 100% of the open version for the same base model. This is a speed-rating comparison, not a claim of zero seal friction.
- Lubrication
- The factory table lists both grease and oil lubrication. Check the model-specific oil speed and lubricant supply through the open side.
- When to choose it
- Consider RZ when one NBR sealing ring and the listed open-version grease speed suit the application, with the opposite side protected by the assembly.
